JP Talent Solutions is partnering with a well-established Chartered Financial Planning business to identify an accomplished Financial Planner who can provide high-quality, relationship-led advice to an established and loyal client base.

This is an attractive opportunity for a client-focused adviser to join a respected independent financial planning firm with a strong regional presence, a collaborative working culture and a clear commitment to delivering excellent long-term outcomes for clients. The successful candidate will inherit an existing client bank and will be supported to develop those relationships through holistic, planning-led advice.

The role offers full paraplanning and technical support, allowing the Financial Planner to focus on client engagement, advice delivery, relationship management and long-term client value.

The Opportunity

  • Take ownership of an established client bank within a Chartered IFA environment.
  • Provide holistic, advice-led financial planning focused on long-term client outcomes.
  • Act as the trusted adviser and primary relationship lead for clients, including ongoing servicing and annual reviews.
  • Work in partnership with paraplanning and technical colleagues to ensure advice is robust, compliant and clearly presented.
  • Conduct client meetings through a flexible hybrid model, including face-to-face and virtual engagement.
  • Develop the client base through referrals, client advocacy and professional introducer relationships.
  • Maintain the highest standards of compliance, documentation and client care in line with regulatory and internal requirements.

Candidate Profile

  • Diploma Level Qualified and CF30 authorised.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Planner within a financial services, wealth management or IFA environment.
  • At least two years' experience in a client-facing advice role.
  • A consultative, relationship-led approach with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients.
  • Strong technical understanding of financial planning, including the ability to work effectively with paraplanning teams on complex client reports.
  • Highly accurate, organised and meticulous, with a strong appreciation of compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Experience using an IFA CRM system and confidence working with internal processes and procedures.
  • Experience managing compliance file reviews in line with agreed internal timescales.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of, or interest in, cash flow planning.
  • A proactive mindset, willingness to learn new systems and commitment to delivering excellent client outcomes.
